2017 College Basketball Tournament:The First FourMarch 14, 2017 by Marc Jerbs

After Selection Sunday, the 2017 College Basketball Tournament is set to start on Thursday, March 16. On Tuesday, 8 teams will vie for the final 4 slot in bracket in the "First Four" games to complete the pairings in the College Basketball Tournament bracket.

The First Four games will be held in Dayton, Ohio on March 14 and 15. The First Four matches will feature Mount St. Mary's against New Orleans. The winner of this game will face East Region's No. 1 Villanova on Thursday. The second game will pit Kansas State against Wake Forest wherein the winner will face South Region's 6th ranked Cincinnati.

Wednesday's games will feature NC Central against UC Davis. The winner of this game will earn a match with Midwest Region's top seed Kansas on Friday. Another game will showcase Providence against USC wherein the winner will face East Region's 6th ranked SMU on Friday.
