2018 NBA Finals Game 2: Cleveland Cavaliers at Golden State Warriors June 01, 2018 by Marc Jerbs

On Sunday, the Golden State Warriors will host the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 2 of the 2018 NBA Finals. Game time is set 8PM ET at the ORACLE Arena in Oakland, CA. Golden State leads the series, 1-0.

The Cleveland Cavaliers will have 2 days rest to re-focus for Game 2 after a shocking 124-114 OT loss Thursday night against the Golden State Warriors. Lebron James was again superb as he led with 51 points. However, it was JR Smith's mental collapse and George Hill's miss free-throw that pushed the game into overtime.

Cleveland could have won the ball-game if both Smith and Hill were mentally prepared for Game 1. Lebron James should not be pressured to carry every game for Cleveland. However, putting his trust to his teammates is still a work in progress for Lebron.

The Golden State Warriors will readjust on how they will cover Lebron defensively in Game 2. They were lucky enough to send the game in overtime due to Smith's blunder. But the Warriors still has some work to be done for Game 2.

The sports handicappers have installed the Golden State Warriors as a 12.5-point favorite to win against the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 2 of the 2018 NBA Finals on Sunday night.
