Riccarton Park Racecourse

Located in the heart of Christchurch is Riccarton Park Racecourse where racing has been held since the mid-1800s.

The track features some of New Zealand's best races, such as the New Zealand Cup and the 1000/2000 Guineas.

The New Zealand Cup is held in November annually.

The course is managed by the Canterbury Jockey Club and holds 22 race meetings per season.
