2012 AFL Semi-Final: Fremantle Dockers v Adelaide Crows
September 12, 2012 by Marc Jerbs

On Friday, the Fremantle Dockers and Adelaide Crows will face off in a do-or-die semi-final at the AAMI Stadium. Game time is set at 8:15 PM Australian time.

Fremantle and Adelaide knows what is at stake in this game. The winner advances to the preliminary finals and will face the well rested Hawthorn Hawks. The loser will kiss their 2012 AFL season goodbye.

The Adelaide Crows has the numbers against the Fremantle Dockers this season. They have beaten the Dockers in Rounds 10 and 20. However, the Crows just suffered a massive beating last week against the Sydney Swans, 71-42. Adelaide must forget their loss and move on to concentrate against the Dockers.

Fremantle could have won their two fixtures against the Adelaide this season. They were leading in both halves but eventually lose both games in the succeeding halves as the Crows tighten their defense. The Dockers could turn the table against the Crows if they could turn on their defense much tighter and let their superb scoring power dictate the game.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Adelaide Crows as a 9.5-point favorite to beat the Fremantle Dockers for the third time this season.
