2012 Barclays Premier League: Manchester United vs. Sunderland
December 14, 2012 by Marc Jerbs

On Saturday, Sunderland visit the Old Trafford for a Premier League fixture against Manchester United. Game time is set to start at 15:00PM GMT.

Manchester United is coming off a fresh win in the "Manchester Derby" against defending Premier League champion Manchester City.

Robin van Persie's injury time free kick sealed the 3-2 of United. However, it was Wayne Rooney's brace in the first half that proved enough cushion as Manchester City managed to tie the game in the second half.

Sunderland hopes to capitalize on their winning form after beating Reading, 3-0 last Tuesday. However, they may encounter a stiff resistance against Manchester United. Sunderland may possibly miss three important players who may not be able to play due to injuries. Phil Bardsley, Adam Johnson and Danny Rose are all questionable to play this Saturday.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Manchester United as the odds on favorite to beat Sunderland this Saturday.
