On Saturday, the Perth Summer Racing Carnival continues with the 2012 CB Cox Stakes. This is a Group 2 race held annually in December at the Ascot Racecourse in Perth, Western Australia.

The race will cover 2100 metres of the track and the winner will get a total of A$225,000 prize. Last year, God Has Spoken won the race after crossing the finish line ahead of Kincaple and Ranger.

This year's race will have 16 horses which are all high caliber horses capable of winning the CB Cox Stakes. Trainer Neville Parnham have 2 horse entries, Playing God and God Has Spoken. Adam Durrant has 3 horses in the field, Mr Moet, Chester Road and Lopov. Lords Ransom, Battle Emblem and Ranger are the 3 horse entrants by Grant Williams.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Mr Moet as the favorite to win the CB Cox Stakes. 2011 winner God Has Spoken and Pop Culture looms as a worthy challenger for Mr Moet in this race.
