Quarterfinals: 2013 French Open

On Wednesday, the French Open continues to the quarterfinal round after 11 days of action pack tennis in the men's and women's singles event.

Most of the top contenders in the men's and women's singles event have marched into the quarterfinal round. However, 2nd seed Roger Federer was ousted by Jo-Wilfried Tonga 7-6, 6-3, 6-3 and 4th seed Agnieszka Radwanska was defeated by 5th seed Sara Errani 7-5, 6-3, 6-3.

On tap for Wednesday's quarterfinal, 2nd seed and defending French Open champion Maria Sharapova will face 18th seed Jelena Jankovic while 3rd seed Victoria Azarenka will meet 12th Maria Kirilenko.

In the men's side, defending French Open champion Rafael Nadal will go up against 9th seed Stanislas Wawrinka and top seed Novak Djokovic will challenge 12th seed Tommy Haas.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Maria Sharapova and Victoria Azarenka as the favorite to beat their respective quarterfinal round opponents.
