2014 AFL Round 18: West Coast Eagles vs. Richmond Tigers
July 23, 2014 by Marc Jerbs

On Friday, the West Coast Eagles will face the Richmond Tigers in Round 18 of the 2014 AFL. The game will be played at Patersons Stadium and will start at 6:40PM local time.

Both West Coast and Richmond have underperformed this year and this game will serve as a test to prove they are improving late in the season.

Richmond is coming off a bye week after beating Port Adelaide. The Tigers have only won 3 times against the Eagles. Last year, they pulled off an upset by kicking six goals to set-up a 41-point rout.

West Coast would like to erase the stigma of Richmond's 41-point win by exacting revenge on Friday night. The Eagles will have extra motivation to win the game as they pay homage to Dean Cox's looming retirement in the AFL.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the West Coast Eagles as an 11.5-point favorite to beat the Richmond Tigers on Friday night.
