2014 NRL Grand Final: South Sydney Rabbitohs vs
Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs
October 01, 2014 by Marc Jerbs

On Sunday, the South Sydney Rabbitohs will face the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in the 2014 NRL Grand Final. The ANZ Stadium will host the match at 4:20PM local time.

South Sydney Rabbitohs barged into the Grand Final after they defeated the Sydney Rooster, 32-22 in the Pre Final last Friday. Rabbitohs Issac Luke will not play due to his suspension after he was carded a Grade 1 penalty in their last game.

South Sydney is all pumped up as they qualified for their first Grand Final appearance in 43 years. The Rabbitohs will seek its historic 21st Grand Final championship title.

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs stumbled their way to enter the Finals Series as they finished the season in 7th place. The Bulldogs managed to survive the higher ranked team and dispatched the Penrith Panthers, 18-12 in last Saturday's Pre Final match.

Bulldogs' captain Michael Ennis is a doubtful starter and will need a miracle to heal his fractured foot for Sunday's game. He is still confident that his team could score a win because most of his teammates are seasoned veterans.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the South Sydney Rabbitohs as an 8.5-point favorite to beat the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs on Sunday.
