2015 Brisbane Summer Sprint Race: George Moore Stakes
November 26, 2015 by Marc Jerbs

On Saturday, the Brisbane Racing Club will host the George Moore Stakes at Doomben Racecourse in Brisbane, Australia. The Group 3 race is an open quality handicap that will run a total distance of 1200 meters.

The 12-field horse race will feature the well-known sprinters in Australia. Australia's famed trainers Tony Gollan and Kelly Schweida will participate in the race. Tony Gollan fielded five of his horses led by Temple of Boom. His four other horses are Fontelina, Didntcostalot, Gundy Spirit and Casual Choice.

Trainer Kelly Schweida will have a lone entry, Miss Cover Girl. This 4-year old bay mare has amassed 7 wins from 16 starts. There's a strong possibility that Miss Cover Girl could pose as a threat to Tony Gollan's field of horses.

The horseracing handicappers have installed Temple of Boom as the favorite to win the George Moore Stakes on Saturday. Stablemates Didntcostalot and Fontelina, Miss Cover Girl and Architect are among Temple of Boom's worthy challengers.
