On Sunday, the Shanghai International Circuit in Shanghai, China will host the 3rd race of the Formula One season, the Chinese Grand Prix.

The 56-lap race will cover a total race distance of 305.066 kilometers and each lap will have a circuit length of 5.451 kilometers. Racing legend Michael Schumacher holds the fastest lap record of 1 minute and 32.239 second which was established in the inaugural race in 2004.

In the last Malaysian Grand Prix, Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel earned his first win under his new team. It was also team Ferrari's first win since 2013. Vettel's teammate Kimi Raikonnen finished in 4th place and was able to recover from a blown tire in the early part of the race. Ferrari showed that it could make this season interesting after keeping Mercedes' pair Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg in 2nd and 3rd place.

Lewis Hamilton still leads the driver standings with 43 points followed by Sebastian Vettel at 40 points. Nico Rosberg sits at 3rd place with 33 points while Felipe Massa is in distant 4th place with 20 points.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Lewis Hamilton as the favorite to win the Chinese Grand Prix. Teammate Nico Rosberg and Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel are among his strongest challengers.
