2016 AFL: Qualifying and Elimination Finals

After 23 rounds of competition, 8 teams have qualified in the postseason phase of the AFL, the AFL qualifying and elimination finals. The top two teams where Sydney Swans and Geelong Cats. The rest of the teams are Hawthorn Hawks, GWS Giants, Adelaide Crows, West Coast Eagles, Western Bulldogs and North Melbourne Kangaroos.

The first match of the qualifying and eliminations finals is set for Thursday and it will feature 6th ranked West Coast Eagles against 7th ranked Western Bulldogs. Kick-off is set at 6:10PM AWST in Domain Stadium. The winner will move to the semi-finals while the loser will be eliminated.

The rest of the fixtures will showcase top-ranked Sydney Swans versus 4th ranked GWS Giants, 5th ranked Adelaide Crows against 8th ranked North Melbourne Kangaroos and 2nd ranked Geelong Cats will meet 3rd ranked Hawthorn Hawks.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed West Coast Eagles, Geelong Cats, Sydney Swans and Adelaide Crows as the favorites to win in their respective fixtures and move closer for a spot in the 2016 AFL Grand Final.
