2016 Ascot Racing Carnival: Railway Stakes
November 17, 2016 by Marc Jerbs

On Saturday, the Ascot Racecourse in Perth, Western Australia will host the Railway Stakes. The Railway Stakes is a Group 1 horse race for three year olds and older run under handicap race conditions that will cover a total race distance of 1600 meters.

A full field of 16 horses has been finalized for the Railway Stakes. Defending champion Good Project will aim for a back-to-back win with a 55 kilograms handicap which is 2 kilos more than his 2015 victory. Trainer Chris Waller will also run Good Project's stablemate Mackintosh.

Local mare Perfect Reflection will also run the race. Distinguish local horse owner Bob Peter listed Disposition, Heart Starter, Ideal Image and Neverland for the Railway Stakes.

The horse race handicappers have installed Perfect Reflection as the horse to beat on Saturday's Railway Stakes.
