2016 Brisbane Racing: The Doomben Cup

On Saturday, the Brisbane Racing Club will host the Doomben Cup at the Doomben Racecourse in Australia. The Doomben Cup is a Group 1 race for three year old and older thoroughbreds run under weight for age conditions. The race will cover a total race distance of 2000 meters.

The Doomben Cup will feature a quality race participants of 14 thorougbreds, among them is John O'Shea-trained Hauraki. Hauraki will have an advantage with the extra 200 meters on race day and if the track is dry.

The horse race handicappers have installed Hauraki as the favorite to win the Doomben Cup. It's Somewhat, Noble Protector and Volkstok'n'barrell are the three horses that could compete against Hauraki.
