November 10, 2016 by Marc Jerbs

On Saturday, the Sandown Racecourse in Melbourne, Australia will host the Zipping Classic. The Group 2 race is held under weight for age conditions will run over a total race distance of 2400 meters. This race was formerly known as the "Sandown Classic" but renamed in 2012 in honor of four-time winner Zipping.

The Sandown Racecourse has a long straight win an uphill run at home. During the race, the pretenders and contenders will be sorted out when they turn towards the home stretch. This race suits well to horses that could sustain a strong run for 2400 meters.

The Zipping Classic has attracted eight horses including 2015 winner Who Shot Thebarman. Who Shot Thebarman will be joined by 4 other horses that participated in last week's Melbourne Cup. The four horses are Almoonqith, Big Orange, Secret Number and Beautiful Romance.

The horse race handicappers have installed Who Shot Thebarman as the horse to beat on Saturday's Zipping Classic. So Si Bon, Big Orange and Almoonqith are the strongest competitors of Who Shot Thebarman.
