2017 AFL Round 10: Geelong Cats vs. Port Adelaide Power
May 25, 2016 by Marc Jerbs

On Thursday, the Geelong Cats will host the Port Adelaide Power in Round 10 of the 2017 AFL season at the Simonds Stadium. Game time is set at 7:20PM AEST.

Geelong Cats bounced back with a win against Western Bulldogs last week after three consecutive round losses. Geelong must replicate the explosive intensity as they face the Port Adelaide on Thursday night. Currently, Geelong is in 3rd place in the AFL ladder with 6 wins and 3 losses. They are just 4 points behind leaders Adelaide Crows and GWS Giants.

Port Adelaide is fresh from a mid-season bye after a historic win in China against Gold Coast Suns. There's uncertainty on how the Power will perform after a long break. Playing in Simond Stadium is not favorable to them. In 13 fixtures, Port Adelaide has only won 2 games and their last win was in 2007.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Geelong Cats as a 15.5-point favorite to beat the Port Adelaide Power on Thursday night.
