2017 AFL Round 16: Adelaide Crows vs. Western Bulldogs
July 06, 2017 by Marc Jerbs

On Friday, the Adelaide Crows will play the Western Bulldogs in Round 16 of the 2017 AFL season. Game time is set 7:20PM ACST at the Adelaide Oval in North Adelaide, South Australia.

The defending AFL champion Western Bulldogs will have to challenge one of the contenders for their title this season, the Adelaide Crown. The Bulldogs who sits in 10th place is far cry from their form last year when they blitzed the competition to take home the AFL title.

The Western Bulldogs have lost three of their last four games which relegated them to 10th place in the table. They must bring back their hard-nosed defense to have a chance against the Adelaide Crows. Adelaide was in blistering form when the season opened but stumbled a bit during the midseason when teams found a way to stop their offense.

The Adelaide Crows were able to right their ship and has won four of its last six games. Adelaide is coming off a confidence boosting win against Carlton last weekend. The Crows were able to pull the win even if they were not able play their game. This could be the defining game of the season for Adelaide and could be their focal point towards the AFL title.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Adelaide Crows as a 24.5-point favorite to beat the Western Bulldogs on Friday night.
