2018 Australian Open: Men's Singles Semifinals
January 25, 2018 by Marc Jerbs

On Friday, the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia will host the Men's Singles Semifinals competition in front of passionate Australians. This year's semifinals will feature two unseeded players going up against two battle-tested players.

The first semifinal match will feature British Kyle Edmund against 6th seed Marin Cilic. Marin Cilic was able to barge in the semifinals due to the injury retirement of top seed Rafael Nadal in their quarterfinal round. It was a different case for Kyle Edmund, he eliminated 3rd seed Grigor Dimitrov in 4 sets to book a semifinal seat.

The second semifinal match will be a David and Goliath battle between 2nd seed Roger Federer and Korean Hyeon Chung. Hyeon Chung breezed through American Tennys Sandgren in their quarterfinal round but things may be different against Roger Federer.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Marin Cilic and Roger Federer to win their semifinal round matches and play with each other on Sunday's Men's Singles Championship.
