2018 Formula One Racing: Australian Grand Prix

On Sunday, the Formula One season formally starts with is open race, the Australian Grand Prix. The 55-lap race will cover a total race distance of 307.574 km of the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit in Albert Park, Australia.

This season, the Formula One race will have 21 races around the world. Every team will bring in new F1 cars with updated packages. Mercedes has been a dominant force since F1 switched from V6 turbo hybrid engines. They have won 4 consecutive constructors' and drivers' world titles.

Based on the offseason testing, it might be a three-way team race this time for the championships. Ferrari and Red Bull had developed a capable car that could match Mercedes this season.

This remains to be seen once all the new F1 cars will be tested on the Australian Grand Prix.
