The 10-field race has mixed homegrown and international-bred thoroughbreds. Blair House who is trained by Charlie Appleby comes from the stable of Melbourne Cup winner Godolphin.

Last year's Melbourne Cup winning trainer Joseph O'Brien will field Latrobe. Trainer Chris Waller will field Empire Rose Stakes winner Shillelagh and trainer Darren Weir will let Extra Brut run with them.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Blair House as the favorite to win the Mackinnon Stakes on Saturday noon.
