2014 AFL Round 21: Carlton Blues vs. Geelong Cats
August 13, 2014 by Marc Jerbs

On Friday, Carlton Blues will play the Geelong Cats in Round 21 of the AFL. Game time is set at 7:50PM local in Etihad Stadium.

The Geelong Cats is certain to secure a top four finish with 3 rounds left in the AFL season. Their close win against Fremantle has put them with identical 15-4 win loss record with Hawthorn and Sydney.

Only percentage points have separated the top three teams. The Cats is in 3rd place and still has three more round to improve their position in the standings.

The Blues sits in 13th place and clearly will not be able to move into 8th place to qualify in The Final. However, they have won three of their last five games and would want to get another shot at Geelong's Round 12 win against them.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Geelong Cats as a 19.5-points favorite to beat the Carlton Blues on Friday night.
