ATC Championship Series: ATC Australian Oaks

On Saturday, the Australian Turf Club will host another spectacular horse racing card as part of the ATC Championship Series. The Randwick Racecourse in Sydney, Australia will host the ATC Australian Oaks.

It is a Group 1 thoroughbred race for three year old fillies at set weights of 56kgs. The race will cover a total distance of 2,400 metres. The total prize money is set at A$1,000,000. The race winner will receive $600,000 and a trophy worth $114,500.

A 16-field top notch fillies have qualified for the race. Notable horses such as Jameka, Honesta, Valley Girl, Sofia Rosa, Capella and Happy Hannah are all primed up to run in the race on Saturday.

The horse race handicappers have placed Jameka as the race favorite. However, Happy Hannah and Sofia Rosa looms as Jameka's strongest challengers.
