Raceday at Caulfield: Blue Diamond Stakes

On Saturday, the Caulfield Racecourse in Victoria, Australia will host the Blue Diamond Stakes. The Blue Diamond Stakes is a Group 1 race for two year olds at set weights and will run over 1200 meters.

It is considered as the richest thoroughbred race in Victoria with total prize money of A$1,000,000. The race is scheduled to start at 5:45PM local time.

A full field of 16 horses will participate in the high stakes race lead by Earthquake. Earthquake who is unbeaten in her last two races is trained by Peter Snowden and will be ridden by jockey Damian Browne.

The race handicappers have installed Rubick as the slight favorite to win the Blue Diamond Stakes. Earthquake, Chivalry and Nayeli could challenge Rubick in this race on Saturday.
