2018 College Football National Championship Alabama vs. Georgia January 04, 2018 by Marc Jerbs

On Monday, the College Football National Championship will feature an all-SEC title affair between Alabama and Georgia. Game time is set at 8PM ET and will be played at Mercedez-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA.

SEC champion Georgia will face Alabama right in front of its home fans and will have home field advantage. Both college team have the same make up of playing collegiate football. Georgia and Alabama both play elite defense and rely heavily with their running game.

Both teams have a good QB at helm, Alabama has QB Jalen Hurts while Georgia has QB Jake Fromm. However, passing plays are only deemed necessary if both teams' run offense does not work. Alabama and Georgia will rely on strong and controlled defense combined with efficient run-centered offenses.

Another compelling story in this National Championship game is the matching of wits and plays between Alabama coach Nick Saban and his former defensive coordinator Kirby Smart, who is Georgia's coach. The sportsbook handicappers have installed Alabama as a 4-point favorite to beat Georgia on Monday night.
