REDUCED 'JUICE'
IN SPORTSBOOK

'Juice' is the amount charged by bookmakers for taking bets. It is sometimes known as 'vigorish'.

The typical juice on a bet is 10% which means the bettor must risk $110 to win $100.

However, there are some sportsbooks that offer 5% 'juice' on selected days of the week. And this is a big help to many sports bettors. In fact, reduced juice betting is one of the most powerful tools in the arsenal of any online sports bettor.

One cannot emphasize the importance of reduced juice betting. Any bettor who understands the basics of money management should use reduced juice betting. Any bettor who makes a living or who plans to make a living on sports betting should use reduced juice betting.

To illustrate the benefits of reduced juice betting, we will use as an example 1,100 plays a year with a winning percentage of 53%. An average of about 3 plays a day with just a small winning percentage over the break even mark.

We examine a $50 per game player:

Laying the standard 110 for a $50 per game player
583 wins 517 losses= +715.00

Laying 105 for a $50 per game player
583 wins 517 losses= +2,008

We examine a $500 per game player:

Laying the standard 110 for a $500 per game player
583 wins 517 losses= +7,150.00

Laying 105 for a $500 per game player
583 wins 517 losses= +20,075.00
