On Thursday, the Detroit Lions will face the Kansas City Chiefs in the kick-off game of the 2023-24 NFL season.

Game time is set 8:20PM EDT at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, MO.

Reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs will start its title defense at their home field.

Kansas City will again be led by NFL and Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes.

The Chiefs have most of their Super Bowl-championship team intact.

They may have lost Juju Smith-Schuster, Chris Jones and Travis Kelce but they have players who can to step-up and fill their roles.

Last season, the Detroit Lions showed to its fans and opponents that they should not be ignored after finishing second in the NFC North.

This season, a lot is expected from the team led by superstar QB Jared Geoff.
