2023-24 NFL Week 3: NY Giants vs. San Francisco 49ers September 21, 2023 by Marc Jerbs

On Thursday, the NY Giants will face the San Francisco 49ers to start Week 3 of the 2023-24 NFL season.

Kick-off is set 8:15PM EDT at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, CA.

The NY Giants is coming off a historic come-from-behind win against Arizona Cardinals in Week 2.

It was another slow start for New York just like in their Week 1 loss to Dallas.

Against the 49ers, the Giants knows that they must have a fast and good start or it will be another lopsided loss.

RB Saquon Barkley is out due to a sprained ankle and will be replace by three RBs led by veteran Matt Breida, Gary Brightwell and rookie Eric Gray during his absence.

San Francisco is undefeated and sports a two-game winning streak.

Their defensive unit is unhappy with their Week 2 performance as they only registered one sack during the game against the LA Rams.

However, LBs Fred Warner, Nick Bosa and the rest of their defensive crew will flaunt its vaunted defense against the NY Giants.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the San Francisco 49ers as the favorites to win over the NY Giants on Thursday night.
