From March 5 up to March 8, the East London Golf Club in Eastern Cape, South Africa will host the Africa Open. This is the 6th edition of the tournament which started in 2010.
Since its inception, homegrown talents have won the Africa Open as they parried attempts of international golfers to snatch the title from South African golfers.
The maiden winner of the Africa Open was Charl Schwartzel. He was followed by back-to-back winner Louis Oousthuizen. In 2013, it was Darren Fichardt turn to end as the winner. Last year's winner Thomas Aiken will have his hands full as he tries to win another Africa Open title.
The sportsbook handicappers have installed Andy Sullivan as the favorite to win the Africa Open. Jaco Van Zyl and George Coetzee are among his strongest competitors for the tournament.
