On Friday, the Anadolu Efes Istanbul will face the FC Barcelona in the opening-round game of the 2019 EuroLeague season.

Game time is set 7:30 CET at the Sinan Erdem Dome in Istanbul, Turkey.

This will be a rematch of their five-game EuroLeague playoffs last season wherein Efes won and moved reached the championship game.

Efes kept their core roster and added Alec Peters, Chris Singleton and Tolga Gecim for extra depth in their lineup.

Meanwhile, Barcelona splurged during the summer offseason as they brought superstars Nikola Mirotic, Alex Abrines, Brandon Davis, Corry Higgins and Malcolm Delaney to further beef up their squad.

They now have key players in every position but it may take time for them to play as a unit cohesively.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Anadolu Efes Istanbul as the favorites to win against FC Barcelona on Friday night.
