UFC Fight Night: Sandhagen vs. Dillashaw July 22, 2021 by Marc Jerbs

On Saturday, Cory Sandhagen will face returning TJ Dillashaw in the main event of the UFC Fight Night at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, NV.

The main card is set at 7:00PM EDT.

Cory Sandhagen is the #2 contender in UFC's bantamweight division.

It will be his 9th appearance in the UFC in just three and a half years.

He was beaten by current champion Aljamain Sterling in June 2020, but has bounce back with to straight wins against Marlon Moraes and Frankie Edgar.

Prior to his loss against Sterling, he also won against John Lineker and Raphael Assuncao.

Former champion TJ Dillashaw will return in his first UFC match after serving a two-year suspension due to taking EPO before his title fight against Henry Cejudo.

He's been out of action since 2019 and he could suffer from ring rust.

Advancement in training methods have helped many comeback from long layoffs such as fellow UFC fighters Miesha Tate, George St-Pierre and Dominick Cruz.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Cory Sandhagen as the favorite to win over TJ Dillashaw on Saturday's UFC Fight Night.
