2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series:Gillette Fusion ProGlide 500May 12, 2010 by Marc Jerbs

On Sunday, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series moves to Pocono Raceway for the Gillette Fusion ProGlide 500. The weather forecast for this weekend is partly cloudy and NASCAR teams viewed this report as a sign for a great and fun filled race day.

Kurt Busch ruled the last two races after winning the All-Star and Coca-Cola 500 race. His victory at Coca Cola 500 was his second of the season and the 22nd of his career. He's now in 6th place in the driver's standing. Kevin Harvick still leads the driver's standings with a narrow 29 point lead over Kyle Busch. The other notable drivers in the Top 10 are Matt Kenseth, Jeff Gordon, Denny Hamlin, Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Burton, Greg Bifle and Mark Martin.

Struggling Tony Stewart Jr. hopes to duplicate his win last season in Pocono. This season, he has one top 5 finishes and 4 top 10 finishes. However, these are not enough for a place in the playoff phase of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. A win on this Sunday's race would surely help his campaign for a spot in the top 10 of the driver's standings.

The racing handicappers have installed both Denny Hamlin and Jimmie Johnson as the favorites to win the Gillette Fusion ProGlide 500. However, there could only be one winner. Make your choice between these two drivers.
