2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup SeriesCoca Cola 600May 25, 2011 by Marc Jerbs

On Sunday, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series moves to North Carolina for the Coca-Cola 600. The 1.5-mile quad oval-shaped Charlotte Motor Speedway will host the race and game time is set at 6PM ET.

In last week's All-Star Race, Carl Edwards won three of the four segments and easily cruises to his first All-Star win. It was a fitting performance by Edwards and his crew because they are enjoying their best season in NASCAR.

Carl Edwards leads the driver's standings with 416 points. He has a 42 point lead over defending series champion Jimmie Johnson. Notable drivers who are in the Top 10 are Kyle Busch, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kevin Harvick, Matt Kenseth, Ryan Newman, Clint Bowyer, Kurt Busch and Tony Stewart.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Carl Edwards and Kyle Busch as co-favorites to win the Coca-Cola 600 on Sunday night. This could be a tight race for both drivers and they must not let their guard down since Jimmie Johnson may snatch the race via the backdoor.
