2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series:Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips 400June 14, 2011 by Marc Jerbs

On Father's Day (June 19), the NASCAR Sprint Cup series moves to Michigan for the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips 400. The 1PM ET race will be held at the fabled D-shaped oval Michigan International Speedway.

Last Sunday, veteran Jeff Gordon turned back the clock after his impressive win in the 5-Hour Energy 500 at Pocono Raceway. It was his 84th career wins and second this season. He took the chequered flag 2.965 seconds ahead of runner-up Kurt Busch.

Jeff Gordon's 2nd win of the season earned him an 11th place position in the driver's standings. He's six points behind for the last spot to qualify for the playoff season of the NASCAR Sprint Cup series.

Carl Edwards still leads the driver's standings with 492 points. The rest of the top 10 drivers are: Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, Kurt Busch, Matt Kenseth, Clint Bowyer, Tony Stewart and Ryan Newman.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Carl Edwards as the man to beat at the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips 400. But Kyle Busch and Jimmie Johnson are lurking behind his back and these two drivers will give him a tough race at the Michigan International Speedway.
