2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series:STP 400June 01, 2011 by Marc Jerbs

On Sunday, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series moves Kansas City for the STP 400. The 1.5 mile D-shaped oval Kansas Speedway will host the weekend race. The race will start at 1PM ET.

Last week, Kevin Harvick grabs the checkered flag from Dale Earnhardt Jr., in the Coca-Cola 600 after Dale Jr., ran out of gas with half mile to go from the finish line. It was a lucky win for Harvick and once again Dale Jr., was denied a sure victory this season.

Carl Edwards still leads the driver's standings while Kevin Harvick jumps from five places to snatch 2nd place away from Jimmie Johnson. The other notable drivers in the Top 10 are Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kyle Busch, Kurt Busch, Matt Kenseth, Clint Bowyer, Tony Stewart and Ryan Newman.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Carl Edwards as the favorite to win the STP 400 this weekend. Greg Bifle, Jimmie Johnson and Kyle Busch will be his main competitors in this race.
