On Friday, Australia face Sri Lanka in the 2012 Commonwealth Bank Series. The W.A.C.A Ground in Perth, Australia will host this third match.

This tri-series will have a round-robin played among three teams followed by best-of-three final match between the top two. The three competing teams this year are Australia, India and Sri Lanka.

Australia will try to earn their second win in the tournament against Sri Lanka. They have won their 1st match by beating India with 65 runs. Matthew Wade, David Hussey and Michael Hussey combined for 173 runs to totally outclass India.

Sri Lanka is currently experiencing difficult time with a team internal turmoil. Their coach Geoff Marsh was sent packing without any consultation from their players. It was the board's sole decision to sacked Marsh and the players knows that they have a job to do as they participate in this tri-series event.
