2012 NBA Western Conference Matchup:LA Clippers vs. Portland Trail BlazersJanuary 10, 2012 by Marc Jerbs

On Tuesday, the LA Clippers meet the Portland Trail Blazers for an All-West team matchup. The fabled Rose Garden will host this slam bang basketball game and tip-off is set at 10PM ET.

The Trail Blazers sound optimistic on their 2nd meeting with the Clippers. In their first game, they fell behind by 17 point for three quarter but persevere to overhaul the deficit yet their rally fell short and eventually lose the game, 93-88.

Portland players saw that they have the tools to defeat the trio of Blake Griffin, Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan. They want to avenge their first game loss and eventually improved their unbeaten record in home games to 6-0.

On the other side, the Clippers know that they have beaten the Trail Blazer last January 1 and would be happy to do it again on the road. Chris Paul has blended well with his new teammates; he does not need to score 20 to 30 points a night. He is very much happy to distribute the ball and find an open teammate whenever he facilitates their offense.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Portland Trail Blazers as a 5.5-point favorite to beat the LA Clippers on Tuesday night. Expect an up-tempo game between this two teams.
