2012 NFL Season:Denver Broncos vs. Baltimore RavensDecember 14, 2012 by Marc Jerbs

On Sunday, the streaking Denver Broncos visits the Baltimore Ravens for an AFC showdown and playoff positioning match up. Kick off is set to start at 1PM ET in M&T Bank Stadium.

Denver Broncos' QB Peyton Manning hopes to guide his team for their ninth straight win and further cement their playoff seeding in the AFC. The last five games of Denver against Baltimore was not that good, they are winless on the road against this team.

However, with QB Peyton Manning at center the Broncos have high hopes that their losing streak with the Ravens will end. Manning has a winning record against the Ravens during his stint with the Colts. He last won against the Ravens in 2010 wherein he led the Colts to a crucial division win.

The Baltimore Ravens are reeling off from two straight losses. The Steelers ended their 16-game home winning streak and was beaten in overtime by the Redskins last Sunday.

Baltimore replaced offensive coordinator Cam Cameron with Jim Caldwell. The sputtering offense of Baltimore was the main culprit for the Ravens' coaching change as the playoff season is just around the corner.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Denver Broncos as a 3-point favorite to beat the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday afternoon.
