2013 Formula One:Spanish Grand Prix
May 08, 2013 by Marc Jerbs

On Sunday, the Formula One racing continues after a two week hiatus with the 5th race of the season, the Spanish Grand Prix. Race time is set at 2PM local time. The 66-lap race will be held at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain.

Red Bull Racing-Renault's Sebastian Vettel became the first driver to win to grand prix races this season after he won the Bahrain Grand Prix. He now leads the driver's standings with 77 points and has a 10-point advantage over 2nd placer Lotus-Renault's Kimi Raikkonen.

In the last race, Lotus-Renault proved to its skeptics that their F1 season was no fluke after both Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean finished second and third behind eventual winner Sebastian Vettel.

Lotus-Renault was under the radar during the offseason with Ferrari, McLaren-Mercedes and Mercedes all being mentioned as the capable teams to challenge Red Bull Racing-Renault.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Sebastian Vettel as the favorite to notch his 3rd win of the season. Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen are his main challengers this Sunday afternoon.
