2013 NBA Season:Chicago Bulls vs. New Orleans HornetsFebruary 19, 2012 by Marc Jerbs

After the successful 2013 NBA All-Star Weekend in Houston, the 2nd half of the regular season resumes for all NBA teams. On Tuesday, the New Orleans Hornets will face the Chicago Bulls in New Orleans Arena. Game time is set at 8:00PM ET.

The Bulls posted a 30-22 record during the 1st half of the NBA season. They managed to play without the services of their premier point guard Derrick Rose. Chicago managed to hold fort due to their strength in shutting down their opponents.

Chicago's defense ranked third in the NBA, they usually hold their opponents to 43.3% FG shooting every game. Derrick Rose was penned to start his play after the All-Star Weekend. However, the Bulls' management would want him to return and play 100% healthy.

New Orleans started the season on the wrong foot. It was evident that the players were still feeling it out with each other especially with rookie PF Anthony Davies. Things are falling into place in their last five games before the All-Star Weekend.

It will be a daunting task for the Hornets to qualify in the playoffs with a 19-34 record. They could use their remaining games to bond their players and form a great chemistry for the next season.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Chicago Bulls as a 2-point favorite to beat the New Orleans Hornets.
