2014 National League Championship Series (NLCS):St. Louis Cardinals vs.
San Francisco GiantsOctober 14, 2014 by Marc Jerbs

On Tuesday, the San Francisco Giants will host Game 3 of the National League Championship Series against the St. Louis Cardinals. The AT&T Park in San Francisco, CA will host the game at 4:07PM ET.

Last Sunday, St. Louis managed to even the series at one game a piece after Kolten Wong's walk off homer. It was a must win situation for the Cardinals rather down go on the road with a 0-2 deficit.

St. Louis probably will face San Francisco without prized catcher Yadier Molina after he suffered a strained left oblique muscle in their Game 2 win. He may be available off the bench but A.J. Pierynski will start for him as the catcher for Game 3 pitcher John Lackey.

San Francisco may take advantage playing St. Louis without Yadier Molina. However, they must also refrain from giving the Cardinals instant run via the long ball. They gave St. Louis a homer from the 7th to 9th inning of Game 2. Veteran pitcher Tim Hudson will take the mound for the Giants.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the San Francisco Giants as the favorites to beat the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 3 of the National League Championship Series.
