2014 NBA Season:Miami Heat at Dallas MavericksFebruary 18, 2014 by Marc Jerbs

On Tuesday, the Miami Heat moves to American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas to face the Dallas Mavericks. Game time is set at 8:30PM ET.

Lebron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh are coming off a successful stint in the NBA All-Star weekend. The Big Three contributed their talents and helped the East All-Star team defeat the West All-Star team.

The Miami Heat will continue its push for the playoffs as they resume their 2nd half regular season schedule on the road. Miami had won five of their six games prior to the All-Star break with Wade missing the last two games. Lebron James and Chris Bosh held the fort while their deep bench alternated to contribute in each game.

The Dallas Mavericks also won six of their last seven games and their last game moved them ten games above .500 as they defeated Indiana, 81-73. Dallas will have a two day rest after their game against Miami. After which, they will embark on a three-game road trip which will start on Friday against the New York Knicks.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Miami Heat as a 2-point favorite to beat the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night.
