2014 PGA Tour Major Championship:PGA Championship
August 06, 2014 by Marc Jerbs

On Friday, the Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky will host the 2014 PGA Championship. It is the 4th and last PGA Tour Major championship of the season. This is the 3rd time that the Valhalla Golf Club will host a Major championship.

Tiger Woods is definitely out in this tournament after he suffered a back injury at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational. Newly minted World No. 1 Rory McIlroy has set his sight for a third straight win in as many weeks.

He posted back-to-back wins in the Open Championship and WGC-Bridgestone Invitational. He is in the zone in terms of driving and putting the ball. Defending champion Jason Dufner will have his hands full once he tees up on the first round.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Rory McIlroy as the man to beat at the 2014 PGA Championship. Adam Scott, Sergio Garcia and Justin Rose are among his worthy challengers.
