2015 2nd Round NBA Playoffs:Los Angeles Clippers vs. Houston RocketsMay 12, 2015 by Marc Jerbs

On Tuesday, the Houston Rockets will host Game 5 of the Western Conference 2nd round playoffs series against the Los Angeles Clippers. Game time is set 9:30PM ET at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

The Los Angeles Clippers have overcome the hamstring injury of All-Star PG Chris Paul as they erected a commanding 3-1 series lead against the Houston Rockets. As Chris Paul slowly recovers from the hamstring injury, unheralded PG Austin Rivers has elevated his game to help limit Chris Paul's playing minutes on the court.

Even center DeAndre Jordan has played brilliantly as he notched double averages in points and rebounds. He also let Houston pay in Game 4 as he repeatedly fouled to earn his point in the free throw line but it backfired.

The Houston Rockets have their backs against the wall for Game 5. Houston must take thing a game at a time. Thinking that they are 2 games behind in the series will not help. Game 5 will be a crucial test for James Harden and Dwight Howard but Houston's bench must also produce in tomorrow's game.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Los Angeles Clippers as a 2.5-point favorite to beat the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night.
