The Oceanico Victoria Golf Club in Vilamoura, Portugal will host the Portugal Masters from October 15 up to October 18. The Portugal Masters is the first of the last two tournaments for European/International professional golfers to qualify for season-ending DP World Tour Championship in Dubai, UAE.
The top 60 in the European Tour standing will automatically qualify for the DP World Tour Championship. However, with two tournaments left in the schedule the standings will still change especially in the bottom half of the standings.
Among the golfers outside the top 60, the likes of Scott Jamieson, Oliver Fisher, Seve Benson, Renato Paratore, Prom Meesawat, Chris Paisley, Matthew Nixon, Tom Lewis, Mikael Lundberg and Matt Ford have all equal chances to qualify.
The golf handicappers have installed Bernd Weisberger and Martin Kaymer as co-favorites to win the Portugal Masters on Sunday.
