2015 MLB Season:Oakland Athletics vs.
New York YankeesJuly 07, 2015 by Marc Jerbs

On Tuesday, AL East leader New York Yankees will host the Oakland Athletics in a three-game series at the Yankee Stadium. The first match game time is set to start at 7:05PM ET.

Last May, the Oakland Athletics won three of the four-game series against the New York Yankees with pitcher Sonny Gray doing his part for Oakland.

Sonny Gray will look for a repeat performance as he set to make his first start at the Yankee Stadium. He pitched eight innings and allowed only two runs to help Oakland beat New York last May 29.

New York Yankees' three game win streak was halted in an 8-1 loss to Tampa Bay last Sunday. It was a bad day for New York as they struggled to put man on base and Ivan Nova's shaky pitching had put the Yankees in a tough spot.

New York will send Nathan Eovaldi on the mound. He has won three straight starts and gave up three or fewer runs in his last eight outings.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the New York Yankees as the favorite to win the first match of the three-game series against the Oakland Athletics on Tuesday night.
