2015 NBA Season:Philadelphia 76ers vs. Brooklyn NetsDecember 10, 2015 by Marc Jerbs

On Thursday, the Philadelphia 76ers will visit the Barclays Center to play the Brooklyn Nets in an all-Eastern Conference matchup between two underperforming teams in the NBA. Game time is set at 8:30AM CT.

Philadelphia owns the NBA's worst record this season, 1-21. They are also fresh from a 51-point loss against San Antonio. New chairman of basketball operations, Jerry Colangelo witnessed the embarrassing rout and he knows that changes will happen to address the sorry state of the 76ers this season.

Not far behind the 76ers's unbearable season, Brooklyn has the Eastern Conference's second-worst record at 6-15. However, things are slowly picking up for Brooklyn as the won three of their last five games and won five of their last six games at home.

Both teams are out to change their fortunes after 21 games. It will be a longshot that these two teams are playoff bound. But salvaging a decent season after an awful is more foreseeable for both teams.

The basketball handicappers have installed the Brooklyn Nets as a 7-point favorite to beat the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday night.
