2016 College Basketball:Alabama Crimson Tide vs.
Kentucky WildcatsFebruary 23, 2015 by Marc Jerbs

On Tuesday, the Alabama Crimson Tide will travel to Rupp Arena to face the Kentucky Wildcats in a SEC matchup. Game time is set at 8PM ET.

The 16th-ranked Kentucky will play without injured forward Alex Poythress when they face Alabama. The Wildcats has proven it can withstand injuries to key players but their focus and toughness is still up for debate.

Kentucky was on its way to a fifth consecutive win without their injured forward but succumb to pressure in their overtime loss to Texas A&M last Saturday. The loss staled Kentucky's move to a conference title.

Alabama resurrected its bid for the College Basketball Tournament beginning February by stringing five consecutive wins including crucial road wins against Florida and LSU. However, their momentum was derailed after absorbing a 67-61 home loss against Mississippi State. An upset win against Kentucky could be a major morale booster.

The basketball handicappers have installed the Kentucky Wildcats as a 13.5-point favorite to beat the Alabama Crimson Tide on Tuesday night.
