After 5 days of intense and action-packed basketball matches only 16 teams have survived the twist and turns of the 2016 College Basketball Tournament. On Thursday, the surviving college teams will compete in the Sweet 16 for a spot in the Elite 8.

The first game of the Sweet 16 on Thursday will begin at 7:10PM ET between Miami and Villanova. It will be followed by 3 other matches in three different locations. At 7:37PM ET, Texas A&M will face Oklahoma and Maryland will go up against Kansas followed by Duke against Oregon.

On the next day of competition, there will be also 4 matches featuring Iowa State against Virginia. The three other matches are Wisconsin versus Notre Dame, Gonzaga faces Syracuse and Indiana meets North Carolina.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Villanova, Oklahoma, Kansas, Oregon, Virginia, Notre Dame, Gonzaga and North Carolina as the favorites to beat their respective Sweet 16 opponents.
