On Tuesday, the Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas, Texas will host the Heart of Dallas Bowl. This College Football bowl game will feature the Army Black Knights and the North Texas Mean Green. Kick-off is set at 12PM ET.
These two teams have met during the regular season last October 22. North Texas scored a 35-18 win over Army at West Point. Turnovers were the main culprit for Army's demise that day. Army will make its 1st postseason appearance since 2010. The Black Knights also posted their best record (7-5) in six years as it which include an opening-season win over AAC champion Temple.
Under first-year coach Seth Littrell, North Texas will appear in their first bowl game in three years and just their second since 2005. With a new system and coach at helm, the Mean Green improved their offensive and defensive scoring average this season.
