2016 Formula One: Bahrain Grand Prix

On Sunday, the 2016 Formula One Racing season moves to its 2nd race with the Bahrain Grand Prix at Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir, Bahrain. The first race of the season was equally dominated by the Mercedes team.

Teammates Nico Rosberg and defending champion Lewis Hamilton earned a 1-2 podium finish while Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel took 3rd place. The 57-lap Bahrain Grand Prix will cover a total race distance of 308.238 km. Each lap will have a circuit length of 5.412 km.

Pedro De La Rosa holds the fastest lap record of 1 min 31.447 secs which he established in 2005. The sportsbook handicappers have installed Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton as the favorite to win the Bahrain Grand Prix. Teammate Nico Rosberg and Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel are his strongest challengers.
